People I Mention in the Blog...
Gina Morrell, my Mommy:)
Put short, my mom is one of the most amazing people on the planet! She has encouraged me and helped me through out my application for the exchange and the getting ready for exchange. My mom is just awesome:)
Britton Morrell, my Papa Bear
My papa is super smart and funny! Like my mommy, he has helped me to prepare for my exchange by giving me a new computer and camera:) It takes wonderful pictures and video by the way papa. Thank you!
The Liu Family
Cindy, King and Patrick, are fantastic people! I'm so very lucky to have been placed in their home for these first few months.
Alejandro Castejello, the Spainard
Alej and I go to the same school, so we will be having a ton of adventures! He is a pretty funny guy. He has done an exchange in Laramie, Wyoming for a year through Rotary, so this will be his second year on exchange. He wants to be an Engineer, and attend Harvard University.
Olivia Chudik, the Beautiful French Girl
Oli also attends the same school as Alej and I, and is so nice! She is always helping me with my chinese, and teaching me a little french here and there:) She has also invited me to stay with her in La Rochelle, France with her and her family whenever I am in the country. It's awesome having international friends!
Arthur Hsieh, My Go-To Guy
Arthur was an exchange student in Cheyenne, Wyoming last year, and he connected with my family and me, so much so that he rode his bike from Cheyenne to Eaton. Yeah, this guy rode 40 miles of two-lane high way just to drop in and say hi. He's a sweetheart! We drove him back to Cheyenne, of course, and treated him to dinner. So now, Arthur helps me whenever he can, takes me to the night market, invites me to dinner with his family, and offers to ride bikes to Danshui. All in all, he's a GREAT friend!
